Bruce Nawrocke

Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1954. Has resided in Florida.

His love for nature, the change of seasons, the early morning & evening light, gives Bruce inspiration for his subject matter. He loves to push the envelope when it comes to light and shadow and aerial perspective. On canvas Bruce wants the viewer to experience and feel the scene through the artists eye.

Each painting is treated as an individual with a complete change of color palette. He strives to give his paintings the realism that exists in nature. In doing so, it has taken Bruce years to accomplish this when working with the acrylic medium. Instead of hours to create a painting he spends weeks, even months on each painting. It’s this way he accomplishes the depth in each painting.

Not only is the time committed to each piece important, but equally important is what he paints on. Bruce uses double primed, Belgium or Russian linen. He believes in longevity for his artwork, which gives the buyer an investment that can be handed down from generation to generation.
